Ave Maria (Mozart) ??

I recently downloaded "the dance of the sugarplum fairy" from here, (thanks Thal). so I went and bought a cheep compilation CD (romantic piano) with it on.

There is another piece of music on the CD that I like, it says that it is called "Ave Maria" by Mozart. I have searched the web, but this piece dosen't seem to even exist???

Can someone please tell me if it is right, and please can someone post the score for me

I thought that was for voice not piano.

I am unaware of any transcription.

Perhaps it was made by the pianist who played it.

I've never heard the piece before, but it sounds great.
Perhaps I'll write to the record company and ask.

I have looked into this a bit. It seems to me that although it said by "Mozart" on the CD  , I now believe it to be by "Bach", usually accompanied by another instrument.
