Introduction to Bach [CD]
on: December 26, 2007, 11:16:21 PM
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good CD containing a wide variety of Bach's Piano works? I have heard a small selection but I am yet to fully appreciate the whole. I am currently flirting with some of the French and English suite's as a refreshing break from Chopin pieces and I would like to hear more.
Any reccomendations are warmly accepted, thanks.

For Bach's P&F you may want to try Andreas Schiff or Rosalyn Tureck. . I think these 2 are quite good. . Richter does quite a good job out of them too. . I heard a few other P&F recordings by other pianist such as Ashkenazy, barenboim and Gulda. I think Barenboim plays them a bit on the fast side. . Ashkenazy's fine but I don't really like Gulda's playing. .
