Too late for music festival apps, what else is there?

I didn't apply to a summer festival this year because I didn't think I could afford it. But I recently came into a scholarship program that'll send me to do any festival, project, trip, whatever I want that will add to my career. I've called several festivals and they say that their waiting lists are already full.
I really need to use this money. I just can't seem to find anything that will work.
Got any ideas?
