Nonclassical good music here
on: July 24, 2003, 10:25:09 PM
I just ordered Billy Joel's keyboard book, and Elton John's keyboard book and i'm really excited.  This is the authentic stuff here, no more baby books for me.  And I got the Peanuts Illustrated Songbook while I was at it.  Ok I have no idea how difficult all of these are, but I'll find out in about a week.  I'm still pretty much a beginner as far as piano goes.  But my instructor told me do what's fun for you, and this is what I'm doing.  I love classical but sometimes its not as fun as other things.  In the meantime while I'm waiting I'll be playing some schumman:the stuff he wrote for his students, but its still good.  Well I guess I just wanted to brag and see if anyone else had these, like these performers, or if anyone on this board ever plays anything except classical.  Anyone know how hard these might be for me with only 3 months of playing?
