Brahms Recordings
on: April 01, 2004, 07:48:31 PM
I'm looking for some good Brahms CD's, but I don't know exactly which recordings. I like Emil Gilels for Beethoven Sonatas ;D and saw that he's got also Brahms recordings (1. & 2. Concerto, Piano Quartett op. 25), no it's the question if they're good or not. How are they? (piano play of Gilels, quality of CD's..)

How's Gilels in principle for Brahms pieces?

thanks for advice, regards

My favorites are Goode, and Katchen.
