One of the brightest minds in the world of piano

I went to school with this young pianist from Sweden.

He came second in the Swedish schoolchampionship in maths and he was competing in the Olympic games for chemists (he studied Engineering chemistry before he decided to become a concert pianist, and almost he got his masterīs degree). He was also an amazing chessplayer.

He is also an extraordinary quicklearner when it comes to playing the piano and the bassoon.

Agree, he is not the most musically mature player since he didnīt  have any significant time to study until a couple of years ago.

he is brilliant from a technical standpoint and an outstanding sightreader too. (Very common that chess- and mathgeniuses are remarkable quicklearners when it comes to sightreading)

I think Anthony di Bonaventura pretty much has owned Debussy's Etudes for over a decade or more, but yes, Ollson certainly gives a very creditable performance in this video.
