Tension in Bach invention 13
on: July 25, 2005, 02:43:41 PM
After not playing this piece for a while, I've picked it up again. I remembered most of it, but I noticed a problem that I'm not sure was there before: tension in my right hand, particularly in the main theme when  when going from a to c to b (2nd, 3rd, 4th notes in right hand) using the fingers 2, 4, 3. I'm not exactly how to correct something like this. Any suggestions?

Have a look here where a similar problem is discussed:

Best wishes,
