How Many Hours Should You Practice the Piano? – The Lines Between Science, Method and Passion

It is a timeless question, a persistent voice in the mind of every pianist: “How many hours must I practice to truly improve?” It springs from a perfectly legitimate desire to measure the commitment required to transform our ambitions into sound, whether that means playing a simple minuet or dreaming of the world’s most prestigious stages. Need some help with song chords...
on: January 15, 2004, 05:56:13 AM
I'm trying to learn a song on piano and find myself needing some help. I'm sorry if this sounds amature, but I am. I'm a guitar player, trying to learn piano to accompany myself at solo gigs and could use some help.

I'm trying to learn 'A Song For You' by Leon Russell, covered by the Ray Charles and the Carpenters.

If anyone is interested in helping me out, I have the song posted on my website at www.atticdown.com at the bottom of the mp3 page ready to download.

In return, I will send you my band's 2 cd's for free.

Let me know and I can tell you what I've got so far.

Thank you.
