The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

i played it hi-fi and it didn't seem to make a difference.  oh well.  starting out with alberti bass makes musicians cringe.  start with something else!  much love and care and sincere apologies if this sounds mean.  susan

Ohh, don't be harse against yourself...I know alberti bass isn't the musicians favourite technique, it's kind of "used up"...On the other side - I have only been doing small compositions on my spare time for a couple of months now, and in this genre for only a couple of weeks (used to make trance-music)...So I fully understand your criticism!

Sincerely yours

trance music?  that explains the lack of response from others here.  they simply went into a trance and could not reply.  actually, you have some great figurations and stuff.  but i got sidetracked by the roman legion (at the top).
