Albeniz - El Puerto (Iberia Suite)
on: October 08, 2006, 05:26:45 AM
How difficult is this piece? Have you guys played it? I think is the easiest of the suite. Ill learn it ¡¡¡
The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

Really, there are no "easy" pieces in Iberia.  Personally, I think it is great music and deserves to be played more often.  I have played the entire work in recital, and was worn out for two days afterwards.  Go for it!
