did you all know bach had 21 children??? I just found this out and it was pretty surpising.

Yes, Bach was married twice. And most of Bach's children died shortly after they were born.

It is rather well known ::)  Apparently, so I'm told, Wilhelm Freidman was the msot talented of the youngsters - I haven't heard any of his stuff, so i can't offer an opinion.

I didn't know Papa Bach spent time in jail though.

i didn't know women didn't wear underwear back then.  perhaps that was part of the problem?

Saw it on a doco, apparently he was a a bit of a rebel when he was a teenager - I don't remember the exact details of why he got locked up.

i didn't know he had an adopted son who died - plus taking care of all his own.  whew.  that's a lot of children.  looks like almost one a year.
