Cherkassky's The Lark

I wonder if anyone here has heard Cherkassky's performance of The Lark? It isnt a perfect performance and the quality isnt too great either, but this piano tone... whoa its really amazing!

what beautiful song and so amazing play!  :D cherkassky is favourite pianist to me and tone is...aah canot discribe it. so pure but russian tone it is. real unik (sp?) play in this record. only can do that way near nineteen centur no?

Yea, i've heard it. And it IS awesome thing you know! I just flowed away, ya know, like in a river...just..like flowing..!! Darn...can't express it right now...Maybe Nad...we could form an fanclub or something around this man...ooeeeezzz...well...see ya around
