Which books or tutorials
on: July 28, 2007, 08:05:29 PM
hi all,

new to this site and must admit so far so good.

got a few question's if you don't mind. If someone would be so kind to answer.

i can't afford  lesson's on the piano and was just wondering if anyone knew or had any good book's or tutorial's on piano. I can play moonlight sonata, Enya and a few other things like radiohead's karma police i know it's not classical but i picked them up by ear. I can read music score very slow infact i could not play anything until i memorised it.

i would love to just look at a piece of music and beable to play it within reason of course.

when i start a new music piece i immediately remember and learn it of by heart so i do not have to look at the piece.

just wondering where can i get or even just look at music books that teach you how to apply technique's and right fingering on reading music.

infact any help on this  i would much appreciate and thanks in advance.

The best description of sightreading I found was Seymour Bernstein's "With your own two hands".  A good book all around
