Hi chopinatic:  the improv 2 has a good introduction and on 1:38 has a good sustaining melody.  Towards the end has some playfulness.
On improv 3, conveys  reflective moods.  Nice work and keep it up.

Hi chopinatic,

I liked both of your improvs.  It's nice to see someone else improvising in a neo-romantic style.  Very nice!

Hi rachfan,
Thanks for your comment, i try and improvise in every style but this is my fave, i feel you can do alot with it, one minute its romantic and its soft, then can be fast and energetic but all still be the same piece.

I will get some more up soon.
thanks

Hi chopinatic, really nice improvs :) especially this alla marcia thing in the first is cool, and I like the atmosphere in the first part of the second. What happened at the ending? Did you cut something? sounds as if it's not finished yet.

These were enjoyable - in particular I liked how you reworked the quasi-Rachmaninov introduction of the first improvisation later on in the piece.

Thanks for the comment,
Nope completly 100% improvised on the spot, the only thing i decided before hand was what key i was going to improvise around. But its nice to hear a comment like that.
Best wishes :)

play with different chord sequences, start off with them being simple then try making them more lush using slash chords diminished 7ths maj7s b5th etc etc.

Remeber that the more you improv the more you learn and the more mature your improvisations will become, my first ones sounded terrible but i learnt alot from them, start off simple and then try more things.

Make the left hand interesting using:

Counter melodies
Call and response
appegios
Chords
Strides
etc etc.

Record and post some, people will comment and give you advice, you may already be better than you think.  If not people can asses where your at and give you some possitive advice.

hope this helps!
