How can I stop the annoying Piano Street popup advertising the $1 deal that I tried to take advantage of when my membership had temporarily expired.

It wouldn't let me take advantage of the deal so I just renewed my membership as always.

Now it just mocks me everytime I log in....

Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent.

The website has to survive with the advertising, think of it as another contribution to  keep the site alive Wink Alternatively you can turn off pop ups with firefox, dunno about other browsers.

Indeed and I think the boss should have a donate button for those that love this place but would not be interested in Gold Membership.

I have had years of free fun here and I would happily contribute and would encourage others to do the same.

As long as you are logged in you won't see these ads but when not logged in the system does not know you are already a gold member and you may see the ad.
It is however a temporary campaign which will soon be over and I hope you can live with it if you see how you will benefit from it:
Many new visitors and previous silver members are trying out the Gold membership because of this $1 offer and since most of them are very satisfied and quite surprised about what they get it means more long term Gold members which consequently means more power to the site and more content within your Gold membership!

unfortunately, firefox recognizes the ad as a 'flashing ad' and not a 'popup ad'. technically, popup means it appears in a separate window. so it cant be disabled. but anyway, it should not be there once you log in.

If you've ever heard of a four-string banjo, let me know!  I have one.
