what exercise book?

Hey does anyone know what exercises or etudes are being used in the conservatives these days? my teacher would like me 2 get a head start on this b4 i go 2 college. thanx

Dont you mean conservatories?
AND, it depends on which one you plan on going to, in which country.  You are from Chicago, but how am I supposed to know you arent going to France to study?

lol yes of course i meant conservatories....i was quite tired when i posted....and i do plan to stay in chicago for college, hopefully attending either depaul or roosevelt university....but i can't seem to find a booklist online for either of these schools

I suggest contacting teachers at those schools. They could answer your questions better than anyone here. You may run into the issue of a school having several piano teachers  at a school and all of them using a different approach for technique. This will depend on how much freedom the teacher has. I guess some schools would require that certain things be taught, but others may give teachers a lot of freedom to choose what and how they teach.
