36. Realised today it's 20 years since I left school, don't feel much different now from how I did then. It's also possible I have more years behind me than in front of me, 2 of my grandparents died in their 60s, the other 2 at 73.

That one is very new, someone advertised it for $50 on the noticeboard at the shops last year. I have three of them and use the older two for spare parts. I used to have those old heavy, cast-iron monstrosities but I wore them out. The design of some things has improved.

You can tell it's new, it has shiny wheels. Really liking the hat btw, have a similar one myself, but it has a flower on it, not sure if it'd suit you though.

That's 297826086/297826087ths of it you missed.

Though to be fair, after the first second (which was lovely and spectacular) it was kinda quiet for the next 290000000/297826087ths.

Beginning of middle age I guess.  It pretty much sucks.  And it could be worse... and it will.  It doesn't really get any better.

There is more wisedom.  That part's true.  A typical example is thinking, "F that.  I'm not doing that.  I'm not falling for that again."

Obligatory joke...

Beginning of middle age I guess.

At a point where I'm thinking it's good I can keep up with people 10+ years younger.  And at a point where that thought even enters my mind, "Oh f.... Everyone's younger.  Am I not skilled at this or am I just getting old and actually can't do this?  I better keep up."

Actually they're still in good shape I haven't lost flexibility or anything.

In fact. My flip tricks are better than ever.  They're all in the ankle.

Don't you uncouth youngsters know that one never asks a lady her age?  ;D

And remember, you're only young once---but you can be immature forever.

So is this the reason for your interest in exercising?......because this is exactly what is going on with me, turned 40 and thought "holy crap, where's my life gone!", doing a heap of exercise thinking that it may delay any futher onset of years.

Stave off a heart attack and diabetes, yes.  Makes more room for things like dementia and cancer to creep in later.

And I finally figured out how to lose weight, but I don't want to look like a skeleton.
