I thought the Toccata was stunning! I love your touch and tempo throughout.

One of the most musically impressive Prokofiev Toccatas I've ever seen! Incredibly accurate playing. Bravo!

Ondine is also sounding very beautiful. I'll be sure to check out Scarbo as well.

Fantastic playing and thanks for sharing!

Perhaps you could have had a tiny bit more sound in the climax of Ondine.... but conserving one's energy there is of the utmost importance. And you might have had plenty of sound for the hall you were in. It's hard to tell much from a video at this extremely high level.

I'm enjoying the Scarbo as well. Great control over the tempo-you're using your musical ideas to convey the character rather than relying on the tempo. Many people don't give the phrases the space that they need in this one... I thought you handled this aspect very well indeed.

Do you compose?

Thank you! Yes, maybe there should be more sound, I could better organize the strenght, because Gaspard on concert was in the middle of my program, before that I played some technicaly difficult pieces so I probably lost intensity of sound.

Honestly, it was some of the finest playing I've heard recently. Don't be too hard on yourself.

You are right on track for the big stages, if that is what you want to do with your life!

I am am curious.

Do you play any four hands or two-piano repertoire?
Do you improvise?
Do you compose in your own style?

Thank you very much for your kind words! Yes, I play a lot of chamber music, I even have some recordings of piano duo on youtube...I improvise and compose a bit for myself, but not too often.

I'd love to hear your duo stuff-couldn't find it on your youtube channel.

Chamber music is so much fun.  Do you ever play the blues?

Hi sarytta,

Brava!  This is one of the finest Scarbo's I've heard in years. It was a tour de force.  You're a most accomplished and formidable artist.  Best wishes for a great career in the music world.

David

You just need more listeners (which you'd deserve to) and any feedback from us would in all likelihood not help you any further:

These 3 recordings are professional performances of the highest standard done in a concert hall.

I like what I hear, a lot! Keep up this standard and make sure to make loads of recordings and one of your CDs will one day end up in my collection alongside those of Alfred Cortot, Samson Francois, and Robert Casadesus. I wish you the best of luck :)

Thank you all very, very much! I appreciate your words a lot. Yes, I won some competitions, but I didn't attend really big ones. I hope I will prepare soon for something like that. And I hope I will find a way to play more often on big stages, but that's pretty much difficult today, when there is so many great musicians.
