Beethoven pathenique in a church

My hands was frozen ,so I was quite nervous. :-[

Ravel Une barque sur l'océan
Franck Prelude chorale et Fugue

You need to pay closer attention to the length of rests. They are quite specific, and ignoring their precise length disturbs the rhythm.

In general, your playing would be better if it were more rhythmic. 

There were some lovely moments, but there were also some moments that got spectacularly bungled.

Towards the end of the 1st movement, for instance.


Don't ever play so fast that the music loses rhythmic vitality!

My hands were cold indeed at the time, it was in a church.
I kind of feel like that I played the three movements like three pieces from different periods...
Do you feel the same way?
