I haven't heard from you lately.

Just so everyone knows he's an undercover professional pianist.

I'm not surprised, he knows quite a shitload of stuff about everything that's piano related. I'd love to hear him play too...

I hate to say it, but I was rather disappointed by the discrepancy between the wisdom in most of his posts and results. I'd have expected a player with much more sense of melodic continuity both in the sound and quality of technique. A secret concert pianist would be expected to have a good deal more smoothness and colour in the phrases and a lot more differentiation between musical layers. You need a lot of more strength of musical intention and a corresponding technique for musical differentiation (based on very precise applications of energy to soft accompaniment chords from the fingers, without letting the whole arm and knuckles plop their way down into each one) to bring off those two miniatures.

I thought j_menz was my future self?

*Bob checks the youtube videos closely.*  That watch does look familiar....  My hands look a bit skinnier... or bonier.  The ring on the right hand must symbolize marriage to music.  I could see that but I'd be too cheap to spend money on the actual ring.

Unless this is all a ruse... Posting a couple videos under one name.  A few under a different name.  I could see myself being sneaky like that.

J_menz is actually a song demon. When the demon developed a taste for human flesh, it was contained within the Shrine of Amana, but the line of priestesses (Milfanitos) who looked after the shrine and appeased the creature have died off.

However, after the priestesses tasked with maintaining the seal died or became hollow, the demon was able to escape its prison. Its name comes from its ability to mimic the song of the shrine maidens, in order to lure prey into its lair.

So naturally we're wary of listening to any of his recording, nonetheless the advice he provides is invaluable. Thus when He demands a sacrifice one of you will have to go forth.

By the way here is a sketch of his true form:

"The thousand years of raindrops summoned by my song are my tears, the thunder that strikes the earth is my anger!"

All this time I was thinking his overflowing knowledge resulted in a transparent head.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

I think those green things in the head are actually the eyes.  I read that somewhere.

Someone's going to complain about j_menz's hand/wrist/arm position in the pic above.

Yes, those green things are the eyes, thus the transparent head.
