Not really a "pianist" but, I'd like to hear Bach improvise.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Rubinstein indeed.
And well, he actually recorded, but I'd like to see Rachmaninoff's Scriabin-only concerts live.

He did? I only know his voice was recorded on Block cylinders, but haven't heard of any piano playing?

If I think about the ones who did record, of course I'd like to hear ABM live. Such a pity I missed him when he was in Helsinki 1969  :(

Joyce Hatto.

She did actually record (I mean actually her). This one is live, but there are studio recordings around too.

Clara Schumann.

By the way, do you guys think this YouTube of Scriabin playing his own Sonata No 2 is authentic? I am just diving into all sorts of Scriabin now, and found this. Very different from Sofronitsky.

I would like to hear Liszt and Rubinstein. I read in a book about (Rubinstein's) pedaling, that the pedal was Liszt's only weak point, and that it was someone primitive. It said that the way Rubinstein was able to compete with him was with his "futuristic" use of pedal. And just by looking at Liszt's pedal marks, one can assume Rubinstein was correct in his criticism.

Yeah, I know, I was trying to be funny.

She also has a huge collection of recordings attributed to her that she didn't make.
