An impromptu lesson
on: June 12, 2015, 08:31:14 PM
I sent my music tutor a text message  to say I couldn't make it for Friday lesson, but he turned up as he comes to my house for lessons.  He said he never received my message so I decided to go ahead and have the lesson anyway even though I was quite unprepared.  I had been very busy  and had not done much practice.    But I discovered this surprise  that was sprung on me actually was a good thing though I felt  flustered at first, then  it really made me concentrate more  and work especially harder, though there were mistakes that I shouldn't have made, but the lesson went ok, with new stuff to learn for next session.

Next time I have to cancel I'll phone instead of texting.  :)
