The same way you capture other non downloadable stored audio stream, with a digital pcm recorder that has a mic in capability (hint most decent ones do).
Just use a standard male - male auxiliary audio cable and run it from the stereo out of your computer, ie te headphone mini jack, then plug it in to the stereo auxilary in mini jack of the recorder.  Set the pcm device to external microphone in then hit record and monitor your source volume and recording volume.

I make mp3.files of non downloadable audio streams like this all the time.  Actually im doing later on today with a new piano album that came out earlier in november ive been waiting for. It works perfectly every time and when you monitor you can start and stop wherever you like and split the stream into as many files as you want so it doesnt have to ve one huge mp3 if you dont like, which is better in the long run as the small filea are easier to manage.

Since you are direcrectly feeding the audio source into the memory you dont have to worry about ambient noise on your end messing it up. Ut helps if you also plug headphones into the audio out of digi pcm recorder so you cam carefully monitor and adjust as you go along, which is important for live streaming since you cant go back and redo it something goes wrong.

For video it gets more complicated, they are seprate signals and you probably need to go back and synchronise the files later in editing.

Some computers let you record the stereo mix audio adapter option.  No physical cables to mess with that way.

There are plenty of programs which can download steaming videos. Something like a livestream or flv downloader.
