"Dozing off?   Hey... Is that a creature crawling up your leg???!!!  Haha.  Kidding."

Bob:   :o :o :o

"Finally fell asleep?  Say, we haven't had a good old fashioned nightmare in a long time, have we? "

Bob:   :o :o :o

"Fell asleep again?  Don't worry.  I remember exactly where that nightmare left off.  We can pick up like you never even woke up."

Bob:   :o :o :o

"How come you're wide awake now?"

Later....

"Asleep again?  How about a variation on that nightmare?"

Bob:   :o :o :o

"Awake again?  Can't sleep?  You've got several hours before...."

"You're really getting up this early?  Not going to sleep in a little?"

2 inches from you head, I'd have thunk. Any more and you either have a throne to inherit or they give you surgery.

Not mine.  Haha.  1/2 inch.  2 inches out to the side is way out. (...she said.)

I've got a ruler here.  It's a half inch for sure.  I don't know where this giant 2 inch number came from.

I was wondering about that.  There must be some automated way Nils could be alerted if someone kept switching accounts.  You could just find another computer somewhere to get around that, but I would think the extra effort involved would deter some people.

Step 1:  Make some rice, nice and hot.
Step 2:  Pile it on a plate, a big plate of steamy, wet, hot, gooey-ish rice.
Step 3:  Walk to your usual area.
Step 4:  Fling the plate of rice all over (because you stumbled, but caught yourself by throwing your hands out, hands that were carrying a big plate of rice.

Questions:
How fast can you clean up the rice?
How fast can you clean up the rice, knowing that it will dry and fuse to everything it touches?
Considering the prep time and how hungry you area, how willing are you eat rice off the floor?  ::)  Keep in mind the floor where the rice was spilled was just cleaned... a couple weeks ago, so it's pretty clean, cleaner than normal.  It doesn't have any grit on it, or shouldn't.
How long until you find some dried up rice you didn't find during clean up?
What are those bits in your teeth now?  Rice doesn't have bits like that.  Should rice taste like floor wax?

Ugh... The little stumble did not match seeing a plate of rice flung across the room.

The point of being sad.

Catches you up on rest I suppose.
Goes along with, tends toward thoughtfulness possibly.  Which could produce change then, so it would make sense.

Decision-making.

Based on reality.

And in a certain amount of time, ie speed, although slower but correct decisions would have a higher payoff.

Sloppily copied...
Quote from: Bob on October 05, 2014, 09:24:58 PM

Negatives of exercising...

Soreness
Injury
Time not doing something else, like keeping my place organized/clean or practicing
Feeling of calendar time passing (months) faster, while having less time during the days, but being more relaxed.
Laundry... Always having to wash sweaty exercise clothes.

Calendar time.  That's another one.  It was just summer a little while ago... Now it's December and year's almost over.

I suppose something along the lines of exercising late at night when you have no energy and it's effort to anything.  Fizzling.   Vs. exercising earlier and seeing the same effect on music practice.  There's never enough time.

Adding...
Little dogs that nip at your ankles when you run by.  I'd use them (the little dogs) as hurdles but if I trip by entire body weight might come down on them.  Although they do nip and I'm on a public space... They might accidentally run into my foot next time.

*Bob considers that those could have been miniature dingos....*  I didn't check.  It was dark.   *Bob googles.*  Wow, they could have been... That bark sounds the same.    ::)   As opposed to other little "please step on me" dogs.  :P

Definitely dealing with the laundry.
The stench of sweaty exercise clothes.
And having to shower a lot.  Exercise, shower.  Exercise, shower.  And still getting a whiff of that musty sweat smell once in a while.  It's the constant little stuff like that that starts to drive me nuts.

No effect from caffeine in the evening, despite having taken about 2.5 times the normal amount.  The only thing I feel is really annoyed that it doesn't seem to be working.

Although I suppose it's supposed to take 45 min to kick in... and if I just ate, maybe it takes longer....  and maybe it's just starting to work now....

(No one else is posting on this thread anymore....)

On my mind...
Burning the candle at both ends.
Taking caffeine at night.  Or evening.  Doing another task.
And then fizzling out.
It's the limit of caffeine.   I don't think it matters how much I take in the evening.  Some, ok.  More for more effect?  No effect.  I just fizzle out.  Dang, dang, dang....

I took caffeine and now I'm ready to nod off.

Having now actually tested the sleep bit.....  ;D

mostly not. Some have fewer and some have more. They rarely went over 5 octaves, though some had double keyboards. It would be really very rare for a 44 key harpsichord to have a double manual.
