First one. Good pieces! Yes, even the Rachmaninoff.

i dunno... if you could i'd say a few more preludes... maybe about 5. 2 preludes seems a little insubstantial to me. It doesn't belong to anything else, and doesn't work on it own. That's just my view. If i had it my way i'd devote a single half to playing all the preludes... :D hmm long half :D

Definitely the first. ;)

either.

Definately the 2nd programme. I think Rachmaninoff will seem a bit strange as an opening piece, and 2 preludes can end up being a bit too little in programme consisting of 3 rather large works. Not that I don't like the Symphonic Etudes, but maybe the Brahms op. 119 will add a bit more substance to the programme.
Both programmes are great and all the pieces wonderful, so no matter what you choose, you'll have a great recital programme! :)

Definately the first, if only for the symphonic Etudes.
What is this for, by the way?

My senior recital next year.

My senior recital next year.
Ahhh, congrats and good luck with them.

Changed (I think)!
Chopin- Three Nocturnes, Op. 9
????
Rachmaninoff- Four Preludes, Op. 32 No. 10-13
-Intermission-
Bartok- Suite, Op. 14
Beethoven- Piano Sonata No. 32 in C Minor, Op. 111
What in between Chopin and Rachmaninoff? Or should I keep the Brahms...?

You can't go wrong with any of your scenarios. Good luck!

Keep the Brahms Klavierstucke
Not enough pianists play it these days

i'm also now thinking about my recital programme. and there are a lot of different factors, then you choose your programme. all these 3 variants are good. just remember, that the most important is the beggining and the end. and from my point of view i'd like to suggest to make the end quiet spectacular in order to leave the big impresion. (i prefer to do that)
good luck!
