Title: CF Peters Songs Without Words

Does anyone own the CF Peters edition of the Songs Without Words. If you do, what do you think of it? Generally, I like to use German editions for German composers, and since Henle is sometimes out of my price range, I though I might give CF Peters a try. So if anyone knows any positives or negatives about this edition, please let me know. Thanks a lot.

I too would be interested in responses. 

I have the ABRSM edition.  Got it on sale and though it was a good deal, but now I'm starting to question some of the editorial comments.  I'd like another trustworthy edition to compare.

My (ex)teacher photocopied one from the ABRSM edition a while ago. I found that there were too many comments on the musical text itself, showing how this and that COULD be played, and the alteration of the original rhythmic accents etc. This goes against ABRSM's usual policy of having fingerings and ossias for ornaments and very little else besides the odd footnote or two (and their performance notes). I have the Schirmer edition (which might be a rubbish edition) which contains all the musical text that the ABRSM edition had before alteration, and so it is likely that it is a copy of the first edition.
