Hi! This is to all the fans of the TV series "Black Books" (Bernard, Manny and Fran..), anyways in the first episode of the second season there is a piano, and one of the characters plays bits and pieces of pieces (eg, Beethovens Rondo a Cappricio, Bach's Prelude 21 in Bb Major, Griegs Piano Concerto in A minor and some jazz). There is a bit where Bernard and Fran do a duet. My question is, is that piece an actual piece? Does anyone know the name of it? or do you reckon it was just something made up for the show? eagerly waiting replys!

If you have the DVD and listen to the commentaries for that episode than you may discover more. Bill Bailey says he doesen't know the piece (which he played at the time) but his comment of it "sounding like chopin" is quite accurate. It is a really nice piece but i just love the jazz pieces that Bill Bailey plays: he seems to be a really good pianist.
Listen to the commentaries for that episode if you have not already done so or buy the DVD if you haen't got it.
