I find 10/4 difficult for my fingers.
-
I have only played around with the Etude 10/12 and 10/4 of the two 10/4 was harder.

what are moonlight and pathetique doing there?
Niw, I'm currently doing 10/4 and I find it very difficult, it looks more difficult than the other ones.

10/11 - the E-flat etude in arpeggios/voicing. Also happens to be my favorite from the op. 10.

I'm not trying to say that moonlight and pathetique are difficult or if they are not difficult, its just a list of pieces. Theres different people with different technique problems, someone might find moonlight 3rd mvt more difficult due to its speed and length. who knows.

I checked to see what op 10, 11 was and tried it, wow seems harder to get used to... so many arpeggios!!

Instead of saying Moonlight 3, say 10/1 or 25/12. You can't compare Moonlight+Pathetique with Chopets.

I could be wrong, but I think he can compare whatever he so chooses. Could be wrong though. Maybe some rules somewhere.

All three of the Chopin Etudes listed are difficult, but I think op. 10 no. 4 is the one I would need to practice the most if I was learning it.

What's all the fuss about? Everyone's free to make ridiculous 'apples and oranges' comparisons if they want to - no one's forcing them to be reasonable. They just won't get any meaningful answers, that's all.
Beethoven's op. 13, as a sonata, is the largest, most 'substantial' piece on the list - the kind that takes even longer to prepare than any one etude. Yet it doesn't have the kind of extreme technical demands you find in Chopin's op. 10 etudes, like the 10/4 or 10/11. Apples and oranges, that's all.
-Rach3 (I prefer apples and sonatas)

The hardest one there is Op. 10 no. 4, in my opinion.

I don't think you are catching my point here...but anyway.. :-\
