Hi everyone, first post. :)
My family is moving out of our apartment soon, and would rather not take the Yamaha Upright with us. My mom and I have decided to sell it, but I wanted to get some opinions from people with piano knowledge first.
It was a brand new Yamaha Upright Piano model M305, and we bought it back in '92 for my sis and I. I believe the cost was in the mid to high $2,xxx's. It hasn't been tuned or lightly played on in 5+ years, and the wood hasn't been conditioned before. Just a few light nicks here and there. It's very shiny and in overall good condition imo (keys still look new, etc.).
We hope to just get rid of it, but of course don't want to get low-balled too badly :(. Any opinions on what kind of value our Yamaha still has would be highly appreciated! Thank you kindly.

What kind of currency are we talking abuot?
In Canada, between 500 and 1000, depending on the state of the strings tuning pins...

It's really hard to say without taking a inspection yourself, but by looking at the picture, I would think it's worth about $700 to $900. 8)
