There is a new book that I just picked up called Hamelin and the Eight.
Phenomenal - it is on the great 20th century pianist - composers including Alkan, Busoni, Feinberg, Godowsky, Medtner, Rachmaninov, Scriabin, and Sorabji - and concludes with a great interpreter of their art Marc-Andre Hamelin.
It is put out by amadeus press. BTW, I am a fan of all of the above and am in no way involved in this book except as a reader.
Has anyone else seen this yet? Go to amadeuspress.com for more info.

lol.... Thanks for the info. I haven't seen the book before.
I've seen some forums that lock threads up. I like how these old ones can come back to life and don't disappear.
