Title: roll up electric piano
Post by: urbanspice on December 15, 2005, 03:05:38 PM
Have any of you heard about or purchased this? I'm thinking about getting a couple for my group classes. Just want to hear what you all think about especially, if you have one.

Here's a link to overstock with a picture and everything. Of course, the ones I buy will be from ebay and not $80 bucks.

ooh.  that's cool.  when will they make a longer version.  maybe they have to get enough people to buy them, but i would buy one if i was going on a trip and couldn't play at home.

I have one -- not this particular one but a similar product. Basically, it's great as an elaborate pitch pipe, or for some simple sightreading, but not much else. The touch is pretty much non-existent and in some ways very annoying. As I said, great if you need to give pitch while rehearsing a choir in a pianoless room, or if you're travelling and need to run through some accompaniments in the hotel room, but forget trying to play the Revolutionary Etude ... or even the Songs Without Words  ::)
