Title: VIDEO: Thibaudet plays Chopin
Post by: xire on February 09, 2006, 11:49:30 PM
Here a nice video of Thibaudet, who plays on a piano, especially made for Chopin, in 1848. Thibaudet plays 3 pieces (1 of them the Chopin Prelude No. 16) and also he speaks about Chopin himself and explains about the piano he plays on. Very interesting and worth to download.

P.S: if this already is a well known video; sorry!  ;D

ive seen this before, really good playing of course, and the video is interesting, but the piano is absolutely crap.
there is a reason pianos nowadays are different, because they were crap!

I hate to be crude, but that guy looks like he's seriously curling one out when he plays piano... so bad!!!

Ok, that my one childish observation for the month over  ;D
