A composition I made a couple of years ago. Played on a electro piano unfortunately. Any thoughts and comments are welcome.
many thanks

I think you were wise to avoid metrical coincidence of left and right hands. Free rubato gives this sort of music its charm, even if it makes it difficult to write out. It is a rather melancholy little piece but if that was the intention you have succeeded.

I agree with Ted and will add that I really quite liked it!!
Also, have you considered doing some variations on it?
Anyway kudos!!

PS: by the way, did you follow any harmony rules to compose or is it just as you felt it should be? ::)

Thanks for the comments. No, I didn't follow any rules, just fell in love with that girl a 5 years ago and then composed something for her ;-)
I like the idea of doing variations on it. I'll start working on it!
cheers

I love what you've done on the whole piece, nice melody sings out and strange(but sound nice) to me, I think Harmonizing Rules would make it much nicer.
still, i haven't write such lovely piece like this, I prefer a big dramatic sonatas.

Very nice, very enjoyable to listen to - even though it is digital!
