Post by: gruffalo on April 27, 2006, 12:52:49 PM
hi, has anyone got a sheet music of Cortot's notes for this piece? i really want to get my hands on some if possible.

also, i was searching on google to find general information about the piece e.g. why he wrote it, what its about etc. but i couldnt find much. if anyone has any info or website links to something about this piece, i would be very grateful.

He wrote it about these things, as an old man.

One of the places I wanna visit before I die..

It's just amazing what Liszt could do.. it's like he was a painter who took his canvas to places to paint, only he uses blank manuscript paper instead.

sorry, don't have any concrete information for you  :)
