Young Concert Artists Australia presents a series in memory of famous American pianist William Kapell, on the 50th Anniversary of his death. This 3 concert series in Brisbane, Australia, showcases some of Australia's finest young piano virtuosi! Please look at our activities here:

This is really wonderful.  Ironic to see that the country he scorned and swore he'd "never return" to, is doing far more to honour his memory than his native USA.

Yes quite ironic... i think his diary says "Australia is the least musical place on earth, perhaps moreso than Iraq"..  ;D

its hard to resist sometimes...i'm pretty much the only person i know who has the faintest notion of "classical music" other than my teacher
