Title: Help!

Can anyone suggest a moderately (not too) difficult but effective modern piece, about five (or more) minutes in length, which would be appropriate for a student who can play Schubert's Impromptu no.1 in C, Chopin's first Polonaise in C#, and the easier Beethoven Sonatas?
Maybe something in between the level of Claire de lune (too easy) and Ravel's Sonatine (too difficult).
Please consider Prokofiev, Debussy, Ravel, and any later composers -

The problem with modern pieces is most of them are so damn difficult, that said there are a few that aren't.  Anyways, I would recommend Op. 12 of Prokofiev as I don't hear these played that much (they should be!), though these aren't really modern.  The 2nd piece in it (Gavotte) is a really good one and not too difficult.  The last piece is definately my favourite (Scherzo), but it is a complete pregnant dog.

What Arabesque 1 or 2, both certainly harder than Claid De Lune IMO, or you could learn the whole of Suite Bergamesque.
