Title: stuck key help
Post by: thorn on July 09, 2006, 09:41:30 AM
one of the Ab/G# keys on my piano keeps sticking after i've pressed it a couple of times (which is a nightmare for all and any pieces with more than 2 flats/sharps).

what should i do about it? (hope this is right place to post this)

Sounds like swollen wood! Probably where the key is mounted on a metal pin underneath your fingertips. Perhaps you should call a technician.

Try the link below. Lots of good remedies for a sick piano.
Some fixes are not too difficult.

Good luck.
