Title: After posting, don't close the thread
Post by: barnowl on July 19, 2006, 09:49:26 PM
When we post here at Piano Street, ther thread closes. Why do you do that? I want to see what I've written and maybe go back a couple of posts, or whatever.

After you type your message, click on "Additional options" (below and to the left of the box where you typed your message).

then check the little boxes: "notify me of replies" (this will send you an email whenver one of your posts is replied to) and
"return to this topic" (this will, well, return to the topic as you wish).

I think that is what you have asked.

Best wishes,
Bernhard.

no, i know what he asked. after he posts, he wants to see his text in display in the post immediately after. this is what most forums do.

Check "Return to topics after posting by default" under "Look and Layout Preferences" in your profile.  :)
