BTW, that's alligator skin it's covered with.

That art case model came out last year. Old news.

any piano with keys is beautiful to me. it's just that bosendorfer cannot really make a truly UGLY piano. the green steinway is uglier to me - but if someone gave it to me *(or this one) - i would take it. it has a rustic look. maybe it would be my casual piano (in the basement). ideally, i would like one everywhere in the house. at least one on each floor.

Doesn't matter what color a piano comes in...
you can always paint it black latter. ;D
-
If it's too ugly to sell, I'll take it off your hands.

I'm sure the alligators won't care. :D

Fortunately, it's not mine. (I still think it's ugly :P)

Gack!
Wouldn't the alligator skin dull the sound? I seem to remember Bosendorfer claiming that they are designed so that the sound resonates from the soundboard to the case to a greater extent than their competitors, yada yada yada.
Did Liberace have one of these?

No, Liberace's was probably encrusted with diamonds. 8)

No. His Baldwin SD-10 was finished thousands of hand-cut little Rhinstones.

Ouff, must be made for America. ;D
