My money is on Alistair "last word" Hinton.

This is Ali v Frazier, Borg v McEnroe, Senna v Prost.

Strange how they appear to be pulling each others posts apart.

I'd say hinton. I love his odd/wordy/complex way of writing. Sort of a guilty pleasure.

At the risk of disappointing "pies", "thalbergmad" and anyone else who may be disappointed, there is, for me, no contest, no battle to be won or lost (as indeed I think I made clear in a recent post in "that" thread). For all that I have made unequivocal and occasionally somewhat forthright observations on certain of the content of that person's posts, I don't even bear him a grudge. The thread might therefore more appropriately have been entitled "leahcim vs ahinton" (for in that sense it's a case of one-way traffic), for, as I have noted, I have nothing "against" him in the sense that his ideas (or lack of them), however misguided they may sometimes be, are his and his alone and it is his prerogative both to have them and to express them as, when and how he may see fit. If indulgence in splenetic expression where none is necessary or might serve any useful purpose is what happens to please him, so be it. If too many other forum members get fed up with it after a while, I have little doubt that they will say so; that is THEIR prerogative.

Best,

Alistair
