here's the site i found for my daughter (who is taking the test a little early - in 7th grade). she was offerred some summer camps and/or scholarships at johns hopkins uni if she got a score of 550 or above. so now it's cram time. if anyone else is interested - you don't even have to get a letter of recommendation to take it early - and there are three basic tests to choose from - one being a spatial test (sort of geometric pattern test) for people who are good that way.
anyways, the site is: www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/prep_one/prep_one.html
the other two tests are the act and the STB. you can view samples of the STB (spatial test battery) at https://cty.jhu.edu/ts/stbsamples.html
