Post by: chopiabin on December 17, 2006, 09:11:19 AM: I have her DVD of the Chopin etudes, and I think she's a great pianist. There's also a video of her playing Horowitz's Carmen Variations, which is really cool. She just seems so comfortable at the piano - even with the hardest stuff.

On the contrary, I found the pink dress to get in the way of potentially more enjoyment, don't you think it would be a much more musical performance without a dress entirely? ;)

And she's not flaunting her looks, (at times it sounds) like she's flaunting her technique. But her CD's and recordings are great. Live performances not as much.
