I didn't realised, that it's "not so easy" to play organ piece with piano, before I started this...

Great :)
I like how you get out the middle-voice.

Great job. I love this piece! I was looking for the sheet music of it, but couldn´t find it. Dou you, by any chance, have it in pdf format? ;D

sounds like the choir is being fast forwarded. you have such a good handle on your technique. why so fast? this isn't a speed piece. it's a singing piece. bring out that bass part more. and, sing along. that will slow you down. put some words to it.

I like it. You managed to keep an stable tempo, which I find suitable, and the different voices can be heard quite well. Of course in that last sense the piece do have some difficult passages and they need to be worked further.
On the other hand I am fond of the Wilhelm Kempff's transcription, more than Busoni's. The main theme appears the last time within a joyful environment, very much enthusiastic and that crowns the piece magnificently, it was a revelation. Angela Hewitt plays it much better than Kempff himself.

The piece is great but over 4 minutes of basically the same figurations starts to wear on the ears.. that said I would speed it up just a tad, maybe to 60 bpm. That way it is also easier to hear the contrasts between the key changes and doesn't sound, well, like it is just droning/rambling on (this more aimed at people who are less familiar with the work).
Thank your microphone guy but kindly suggest that someone else man the mic next time... ;)

Maybe, it's not the fault of the microphone guy... ;)

Shoot me if I am reviving a thread that is too old, but I love the way you play this piece!
I actually play it a hair faster... and as we all know, pianistimo plays it slower...
You do a very nice job with the vioces in this piece, have you ever tried the one in F minor (no 5)? It is quite nice, I belive you would like it.
Anyone interested can find PDF versions at
https://www.sheetmusicarchive.net/single_listing.cfm?composer_id=2
They are under "Chorale Preludes Nos.1-5 (Transcriptions by F. Busoni)"
Cheers!
