Title: Piano studies in Italy

I am wondering if anyone could recommad teachers and conservatories at highest level in Italy?

Three good conservatories in Italy are

1) Santa Cecilia - Rome

2) Gioacchino Rossini - Pesaro

3) Giuseppe Verdi - Milan

 Dear TR:
 I personally recommend you the Conservatorio Statale Antonio Vivaldi, in Alessandria. There are several pianoforte teachers, but look for two of them: Giorgio Vercillo and Angela Colombo. Both are great pianists and teachers as well.

 Well, maybe you know there, but Alessandria is a very nice town in the heart of Piemonte. By train, one hour to Torino, Milano or Genova. The conservatory itself have a good musical life, with a lot of recitals, lectures, exams.

Thanks a lot to you both for the help and info, I'll check it out! Know nothing for sure right now, but I'm having serious plans about stuying in Italy, France or Germany (Italy as nr. 1 :)) so who knows, maybe you really get a card from me desordre...

Imola accademia pianisticca is reported to be one of the best schools in Europe for piano. I believe they are very choosey about entry conditions but they have some of the best teachers.
