Is there a way to "reject" an email? To send it back to where it came from and make it appear that your email address doesn't exist and it got bounced back?
I can figure out how to do that -- to make it appear to bounce back -- but is there a way to do that where it really does come from your email host?
Or beyond blocking, is there a way to reject the spam?
I've got an email address that I haven't used in years on forums, and I get probably 30-50 spams daily. But I don't use the email account for forums anymore! I've spent a few hours deleting spam email because the entire box was filling up with spam.

I use outlook express 6 and with spam i create a "delete it from server" message rule, so i never even get to see it.
Spammers are very clever and will use a different e mail address every time, so it is best to block words such as "viagra" and "cialis".
Most spam has an invalid return path so any message you send them will come straight back anyways. I found this out when i sent 600 messages to a drug advert spam and they all came back.
Norton Antispam is bloody useless.
Hope this helps but i doubt it.

Filtering them out myself is an idea though. They do tend toward certain themes -- and use certain words then. Thanks!

It is a never ending battle Bob.
Spammers tend to bypass filters by misspelling words or putting in gaps like vi agra or ciarlis. Despite all my efforts and even filing complaints, i still get them.
I think the answer is for internet companies to charge for e mails. For the amount i send, 1 cent or 1 penny per e mail would not be a lot, but it would deter these internet Pharmacies from sending millions.
I would like to see them put out of business and i would also like to hang the morons who send out stock reports.
