A short Romantic improv I made a little bit ago. Made on my Roland F-100. Hope you like it!  :)

Beautiful flowing melodies.  The harmony change at 1:33 was awsome.

You're starting to get a bit too good at this particular style. What on earth are you going to be like at forty ? Requests for scores will probably start occurring soon I imagine, especially as you have a digital piano. Perhaps 1:33 and similar will henceforce be known here as "quantum changes" ?

thanks, Ted. I don't think I like the idea of having scores requested from me, I like being obscure and enjoying making music like a 5 year old in a playground. No responsibilities, no obligations, no pressures, no nothing---just pure musical joy as long as I'm alive.  :)

This is very much what I after all think it is about, even if you have very serious goals and a lot of serious work and a lot of "commitments". That is what I as a piano teacher try to learn more and more from my five-year olds. It is very important to me. :) Okay as a musician I would not SO much put the emphasis on being or staying obscure of course. We want out. We must get out. We burn to get out. But in principle it is about reaching this playful and innocent pure musical joy... :) (to be continued, perhaps :P)

Whoa, you've obviously got a very good command of the instrument! Sounds like you have a good harmonic sense and know pretty well which strings to pull to summon the tones your music requires. I love the part from 1:25 to 1:45, and the ending was also natural, although it may have come a little too soon.

I'm impressed!

Yeah, this is uncharacteristically short for me. For most of my improv experience, I've recorded pieces from twenty minutes to an hour in length. When I got my digital piano, it seemed to have the psychological effect of inspiring me to improvise shorter pieces. I still make some long ones around ten minutes in length (the digital can't hold more than that), though. Maybe I'll post one soon.
