Now that the holidays have started, whats the most bizarre Christmas gift (or Hanukkah gift) that you have recieved from a piano student?

A used kazoo.   "Oh thank you.  You even wrapped this yourself, didn't you?"

Normally I get cheesy music-themed notepads and such, but this Christmas I got NICE gifts from a few students - an oversized warm fleece blanket, $25 Simon Visa gift card, cookies, and a Mozart mug from B&N.  Yay for good piano student gifts!

Unfortunately the weird Christmas gifts come from distant relatives (actually only one) - bread clips, halloween makeup, and one of those used plastic souvenir cups from a football game (not sure she even washed it out first).

I had 2 (unframed) photos of seaweed in the shape of a treble and a bass clef held up against the sea -rather nice, definitely weird! ::) ::)
