For a pianist of over a decade, you'd think I would know more about such things, but... I don't.
I realize that this will vary widely with condition, manufacturer, deals/dealerships, and such, but I'm asking for rough price points for pianos of that approximate size.
Market in question: south Texas. Think like San Antonio / Corpus Christi and such.
Basically, I'm poking around for grand pianos that are just out of "baby grand" territory, more or less (five and a half feet-ish?), from the usual manufacturers (Yamaha, Kawai, Pearl River though I'm unsure of their current rep here on the forum, and so on). Again, I know it's going to vary a lot, but some idea of pricing would be very much appreciated.
This would likely be in a room with somewhat low ceilings and may actually be in the loft of a two-story home, if that makes a difference.
Thank you.

I have been Out of the market for a Grand for too long to give you direct advice, but,
go here

You can either search in that forum or ask your question directly. Analyzing and buying Acoustics (Grands mostly) is pretty much 100% of what they talk about there. Lots of interesting info if you are In the market.
