Title: Studying abroad, need help
Post by: Alp635 on May 15, 2004, 07:45:21 PM
I am a doctoral student in the states, and would like an overseas experience...anyone know of great teachers in Europe, and could give me some helpful advice about studying abroad?  I'm thinking about studying with Eliso Virsaldze in Munich but need more choices as her studio is extremely small.  I don't really know any of the European teachers besides Krainex, Dorensky, and Vardie...

It's a shame.  Here in America there certainly is a certain dearth of knowledge about the European world!  Fortunately I know who many of the great teachers are "across the pond" (ha! HA!) but I don't really know how best to cause a study abroad opportunity.

What did you end up doing?

Would love to hear if you have any ideas!
