Title: cold/shakey hands
Post by: jennbo on June 06, 2004, 09:24:41 PM
i was just wondering
is it just me or do hands get cold and shakey when you're nervous.
i think it's just me
then i have fumbley fingers and i can't play.
and that leads to a nervous breakdown. :-[

It happens to everyone..

I have a trick- run off to the washroom like, 5 minutes before your performance and use the hand dryer.  It will evaporate any sweat and keep your hands warm and mobile.

You are just nervous..There was a page about cold hands:

Bernhard has some interesting thoughts, take a look!

*Completely irrelevant in every aspect*

I wish there was a "Who wants to be a Concert Pianist?" game show.

I'll never forget this thought of Bernhard (I forget the user and thread name):

"Jeez, Bernhard you're like an old friend of mine, ask him what time it is and he tells you how to build a clock."

Definitely the best post in the entire forum.  ;D
